Representative Burlison on UFOs: “they display an entirely different type of physics than we have ever seen”
Following President Trump’s speech and his statement on Truth Social, American politicians have called on the administration to follow his directives.
For several years, American politicians have been conducting a thorough investigation into the possible concealment by the US administration of non-human spacecraft. This is now a key issue for the declassification task force, which is led by Representative Luna within the committee on oversight led by James Comer. Recent statements by Donald Trump and Barack Obama have set the powder keg alight.
Rep. Burlison
In a recent interview with filmmaker James Fox and journalist Leslie Kean, Representative Burlison discussed the progress of his investigation. Initially a sceptic, he explained that the investigation had changed his view of UFOs.
I was highly skeptical that there’s anything, that there’s non-human intelligence that’s visited this planet. What I’ve seen is that there is absolutely something happening. I’ve seen enough evidence, whether it’s photos, videos, narratives from people that are sworn in, in behind closed doors that demonstrate to me without any kind of level of doubt that there is absolutely some kind of objects that are flying, that are in essence messing with us and not being hostile.
We do not know what these things are and we do not have, and they display an entirely different type of physics than we have ever seen. And so it’s, it’s an entire like field of science that we have not discovered.
I’ve seen objects move at incredible speeds between between plates and I’m talking like Mach 3 that are kind of an orb or kind of spherical object and nothing really really up close but certainly clear as day flying at incredible speeds.
I’ve also seen glowing orbs like that almost look like a ball of like it’s definitely a ball of light and I would say in general all of these objects seem to be about the size of a beach ball whether it was the metallic object, those flying incredible speeds or these glowing type of lights they almost seem like a fluid type of like… it could be plasma it could be… I mean I have no idea but it just it looks like something that’s fluid and glowing and it’s and it’s often different colors of lights and sometimes it will appear - disappear or come …. what I’m saying it’ll appear and disappear or it’ll move in right angles and things like that.
Did you ever get the impression, did you get the impression while observing some of this data that these objects were under intelligent control?
I believe they are. Yes. Yes. Yeah.
This is a historic statement from an American elected official who describes himself as a sceptic, especially given the years he has spent investigating the subject. He also pointed out that he made the most progress under the Trump administration:
I felt like we made more progress this last year than we’ve ever had. Senator Rounds’ staff even told us that they’ve been trying to get it on to the Senate side.
So my first three years, I’ve been under the first two under the Biden administration, I got almost nowhere. But this time, I’ve been able to have some serious meetings and conversations. And I can tell you, the Trump administration from day one dedicated some resources to this topic, to investigating this. But they felt like priority-wise, the groups investigating it felt like it was difficult to justify too many resources, given the nature of the prioritization that it was. And in fact, I believe one of the groups said that, “Congressman”, this is what I was told last week. They said, “Congressman, you know, prior to last week and the president’s truth, this was probably, and I think this was just a random number, but they said, number 598 out of the 600 priorities that we had. But now it’s in the top 10”.
Even just as a just as a statement on Truth Social, it was that was a green light for a lot of these agencies who have wanted to investigate this topic and dedicate resources to it. That’s it basically was giving them permission to do what they’ve been wanting to do.
This insight, provided from within the congressional investigation into UFOs, sheds valuable light on the progress made behind the scenes, which all too often remains unknown to the public.
Regarding the White House’s support, he added:
“That being said, because of that and the last minute negotiations, I spent the entire day with the White House staff almost the entire day and into the late evening. And at one point in that conversation, I said, “look, while I’ve got you, and I said, this has nothing to do with how I will vote on this bill. But I just, since you’re here, I want, I just, I need your help.” And they said, “what do you mean?” I said, “well, I’m on this team. We’re tasked with doing this, but we keep getting the hand in the face every time we request anything. We keep getting blocked. We keep getting told that, you know, that we don’t have access or that we don’t have a need to know.” And, and he said, “well, what do you want?” And I said, “okay, I want a White House level briefing. Same briefing that the president, if I’m at, if you’re, if you’re taking the request, that’s my, that’s my highest request. Furthermore, I would like to be able to have a green light to go visit some of these locations.” And, and the gentleman that I was asking kind of smirked and I said, “is this comical to you”? I mean, is this, “do you think that I’m not a serious person” ? And he said, “no”, he goes, “I just want to go with you”. And so, and turns out he did, he was able to go with me. He had, he had to follow the proper channels as well. And we, we visited the first of many sites, hopefully.
Congressman, when you say you went to visit the site, are you implying that the alleged site that could potentially be housing non-human technology? Is that kind of what one is alleging here?
Yeah, or once did house non human technology, right? So that was the now from my insights from Grush and others, they had it was pretty obvious that that first site that we were that we were going to was not did not have active material, but potentially could have in the past.
So what was important was to see the facilities and the structures and to try to ascertain for a, you know, first and foremost, did those facilities exist? And, and then were they designed in such a way that would have been, you know, one could easily see that that could have been utilized for reverse engineering.
Although U.S. lawmakers have long proclaimed their desire to conduct their own field investigations, this is one of the first times an investigation has been conducted with the White House’s direct support, as demonstrated by the notable success of the investigation at Eglin Air Force Base.
Burlison’s strategy of verifying the infrastructure rather than hunting directly for debris avoids exhaustion through failure and allows for the corroboration of whistleblowers’ testimonies.
However, these statements were accompanied by a grim warning addressed to him.
I put together a list of names of people to talk to and I kind of keep that list and add more names to it. And one of the more interesting stories is that someone from that had experience in Special Forces and the intelligence community, I was running by the list with them and they said, “you need to take those two names off your list and never talk about those two people ever again”. And they said they would have no problem having you killed.
While the threat may seem exaggerated, it should not be forgotten that the United States has all the means necessary to eliminate anything it perceives as a threat to its national security. One example of this is the CIA’s plans to assassinate Julian Assange in London.
Rep. Burchett
Representative Burlison was not the only one to make a notable statement. Representative Burchett told our partner Matt Laslo for Ask A Pol:
ML: I haven’t seen you since the President’s announcement on UAP.”
TB: “Yup.”
ML: “What do you make of that?”
TB: “I don’t know. I don’t know. I just want him to release what I’ve seen. That’d be plenty for most people to handle, I think.”
ML: “Have you reached out to anyone in the administration? Like, are you guys talking to…?”
TB: “Yeah, I talked to the President about it.”
ML: “How’d that go?”
TB: “Very positive. I told him we need to know. Need to release it.”
In an interview posted online on 9 March 2026, he insisted:
When an admiral tells you, Tim, they’re real, and they describe something under the sea moving at 200 miles an hour the size of a football field, we don’t have anything that comes close.
We have five or six deep sea areas that we know more about the surface of the moon than we do the surface, the ocean floor or these areas. And these sightings are happening more and more in these areas. And so it lends you to believe that there’s something, and they’re flying into the water.
Regarding the threats posed to Representatives investigating alleged UFO debris, he added:
I think more what they do is they turn it over to a Raytheon or somebody like that. And when I say these names, I want you to know I'm not suicidal. So if you find my marble with 12 bullet holes in the back of my head and I've fallen off and out somewhere. I don't ski and I'm not suicidal. But they turn them over to these non-government corporations, the material, we think, I think. There's five of them. Five or six of them. And we don't have FOIA, Freedom of Information Act, because it's like if I wanted to FOIA Smith and Wesson. I can't do that. They're a private corporation. I can FOIA them, but they don't have to respond.
On the subject of the possible declassification of UFO documents by President Trump, he said:
He 100% has the authority to do it, but I don't think he'll know what to ask for. And myself and some other people that are close to him are going to be talking to him about the right things to ask for, I think, because Trump doesn't. He's not going to mess around.
Rep. Luna
Representative Luna told Matt Laslo:
I’ve been actively communicating now with the teams that are running point on that, so whether it’s ODNI, FBI, Pentagon or the White House on that. And I’m looking forward to sharing what we’ve all seen.
Hillary Clinton
When questioned by Luna and Burlison about UFOs, Hillary Clinton acknowledged, ‘I never asked for access,’ and seemed both surprised and curious about the status of legislation on the declassification of files. This was a far cry from the sarcastic tone she had used at the press conference.
Japan
In a rare international reaction, Japan’s parliamentary working group on UFOs scheduled a meeting to define the country’s response to a possible disclosure of UFO files by Trump. Participants in this meeting included:
Yoshiharu Asakawa, Former Member of the House of Representatives
Ryo Kikuchi, Philosopher
Ko Nanao Political, Reporter
Yasukazu Hamada, Member of the House of Representatives (Former Minister of Defense, Chair of the UFO Caucus)
Takashi Endo, Member of the House of Representatives (Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, Vice Chair of the UFO Caucus)
Dr. Garry Nolan
Scientific reactions were more measured, noting the absence of an official decision by Trump’s executive order and the fact that the language used left considerable leeway for government agencies. Dr Garry Nolan noted that ‘begin the process of release is different to declassifying’ and that ‘there is a lot of leeway in the words’.
The Sentinel editorial team will continue to report on developments in this situation.
