Department of War Releases Clear UFO footage for the first time
On 10 July 2026, the new PURSUE initiative launched by President Trump released new footage seemingly showing unexplained craft. However, all of the footage lacks sufficient data to prove this.
Since the establishment of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE), hundreds of documents and videos have been released, even though the ‘smoking gun’ that many UFO conspiracy theorists were expecting was nowhere to be found. Despite critics claiming that the new documents were just another attempt by the US administration to bury the topic in useless archives, and that the videos showed nothing but a blur of pixels, the Department of War has steadily continued its declassification work. The clearest footage found in the 4th release is shown below.
DOW-UAP-PR030, Unresolved UAP Report, Middle East, 2023
The United States Central Command submitted a report of an unidentified anomalous phenomenon to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) consisting of 10 seconds of video footage from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2023.
Video Description:
00:01-00:05: No content.
00:06-00:07: Two areas of contrast transit the sensor field-of-view. The first enters the field-of-view from the bottom right and exits from the top edge of the frame. The second, relatively smaller area of contrast enters from the top and exits the bottom of the frame.
00:08-00:10: No content.
One of the highest-resolution images ever released appears to show two objects. One is cross-shaped with a blinking red light and could be a drone at altitude crossing the platform’s downward-facing field of view.
Immediately after the first object exits the FOV, another object zooms from the top of the picture.
DOW-UAP-PR109, Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2015
The United States Navy Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) transferred this media to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in 2022. The video contains 21 seconds of footage likely captured by an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2015.
Video Description: No formal data handling practices for UAP-related records existed at the time this media was reported to the UAPTF. This media was digitally altered before being reported to the UAPTF, and is presented as it was received by AARO.
00:01-00:08: No content.
00:09-00:11: An area of contrast becomes visible near the center of the screen, The area of contrast transits the sensor field-of-view, moving from right to left before exiting from upper left corner of the frame.
00:12-00:21: The footage repeats at a slower playback speed.
This video is one of the strangest in the collection; this elliptical shape is used by very few modern platforms, yet it has been spotted by numerous witnesses over the decades.
DOW-UAP-PR107, Unresolved UAP Report, Eastern United States, 2020
The United States Northern Command submitted a report of an unidentified anomalous phenomenon to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) consisting of 28 seconds of video footage from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2020.
Video Description:
00:01-00:02: No content.
00:03-00:11: An area on contrast enters the sensor field-of-view from the top right of the frame. The sensor pans to track the area of contrast, which repeatedly leaves and re-enters the sensor field-of-view.
00:12-00:16: The sensor zooms out and in.
00:17-00:23: The sensor pans to track the area of contrast, which repeatedly leaves and re-enters the sensor field-of-view.
The camera is struggling to keep the object in the frame, while its shape is similar to #pr109.
Missing Data
Although these videos show the Trump administration’s ongoing efforts to declassify UFO data, as indicated by the file category title on the Pentagon’s website, three key pieces of information are missing: flight data, operator testimonies and air traffic control records.
Without flight data, it is extremely difficult to determine the speed and direction of movement of these objects; yet such intrusions are generally characterised by the performance of the objects involved. The absence of operator testimonies means that contextual details are missing from the observation, and the lack of an air traffic control situation report means that we do not know whether other objects were in the vicinity.
Nevertheless, the significant improvement in the visual quality of the declassified videos suggests a concerted effort by the Pentagon to comply with the President’s instructions.
